My experience with One Good Deed and Caregiver CARE has been extremely positive. You found a wonderful match for me, and I feel that the recipient is as equally pleased.

 

The caregiver was spending much of his time, when he was with his mother, dealing with writing checks and balancing her checkbook. The caregiver has gladly given this task to me, and it appears that this has helped all involved. They are able to spend more quality time together, and the recipient and I have a very good working relationship that improves each week with my being able to help with writing checks, balancing the checkbook, filing and general organization.

 

Since the recipient has visual issues, she has requested that I help her create a new card file of addresses and phone numbers. We work on that weekly after we finish our other business. We conclude our visits with tea and a chat.

 

The experience is certainly rewarding and enriching for me, and I am delighted to be a part of this service.
